We’ve released our take on the Dire Straits tune Water of Love – more of a world-music flavor, and Nathan applying some of his becoming-famous wah-wah violin. Hope you like it!

Lee originally put this together for his son Gil’s Bar Mitzvah in Feb 2014, with the group Darkness Into Light, even though it was a little too techno for the group. He had ideas for fitting it into the electric folk vibe of Mostly Live — this is the first prototype.

Nathan started developing this tune in 2013. We performed it at a party sometime late in 2013, then did this more-professional version in early 2014. The song quotes and step names are specific to Israeli folk dance, but the sentiment is probably more general.
